Every morning when I sip my tea at the table in our breakfast nook, I watch the shifting shapes and beautiful shadows that the rising sun bouncest on the wall by the chair opposite me The flickering light inspires me to create. The sturdy wood of the chair back makes me think all of the people I love and treasure who are still here. The golden shadow that would disappear as soon as the light changed reminded me of the people I love who are no longer here. I like to think those spirits are with me when I paint
